Resort life ! Welcome to Peace and Nature

Host ghosted us and we had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. Positive: Nothing Negative: The host/property manager provided the wrong code for the door. Upon arrival, we couldn't enter the property. We called the host several times but he ghosted us-didn't answer our calls and text messages for 3 and a half hours. We contacted booking.com and they were also unable to reach him. They gave him a grace period to respond and they was no response. Eventually booking.com cancelled the reservation and assisted in finding an alternative for our party of 10. Once the cancellation email was sent, the host emailed to say that he noticed we'd cancelled the booking and asked feedback on what they could have done better. After I informed him I will be giving him a negative review, he called me back immediately saying he was in the US and the number was on international roaming although the contact number he'd called back from was a local number provided for the property manager. Whilst waiting for booking.com to assist, we were able to look at the swimming pool and the granny flat. Both were terribly kept and filthy. The accommodation was also listed as available on Airbnb even though we'd booked it out and paid in full. Waste of time, money. Do not trust.

Disappointed with everything about this property Positive: Not much at all Negative: disappointed by the misinformation and photos provided on the website. Website said breakfast included, it was not and apparently had not been available for a year, however was on my booking. Broken TV stand kitchen equipment was very old and dirty. a mish mash of plates and bowls inadequate for 9 people an open kitchen rubbish bin was not suitable. Childrens single beds maybe ok for toddlers but were not comfortable for our grandchildren of 9, 11, 12.

Should have asked for more refund. Certainly wasn't what was pictured in add. Positive: The location was what we were after. The pool was ok. The renter was very quick to refund the cleaning fee. Negative: It was disgustingly filthy dirty. There was a dirty nappy and drink can under the sink. The lounge chairs when we moved them to watch the crooked tv had so much rubbish under them. The floors were filthy dirty. There was no top sheet. The shower head in the on-suite was so loose you had to hold it in place to shower and it sprayed all over the bathroom. There were wires hanging out of a cupboard... major wires. The grounds were all weedy, the pond up the back was a smashed in mess. On the add, it looked lovely and green. This garden hasn't seen water or grass for a really long time. For nearly $1000 for 2 nights, I think that they could afford to water and have grass. Certainly not even worth half the money.

Relaxation, fun, clean and easy stay. Positive: The host was friendly and communicated well before arrival date. The pool absolutely amazing and the yard full of fun for the children and relaxation for the adults, really felt like a resort. The house had plenty of room and well laid out. Extremely quiet location, had a great sleep each night. Negative: The slide on a dangerous angle which I have communicated to the host who is going to have a look and took the suggestion on board.

Beautiful pool and outdoor area that was lots of fun for our summer break. Positive: The location was perfect for us as we wanted to explore that side of Melbourne. The property was in a quiet area, close to the train station, supermarket and cafes. The pool was fantastic and this was our main reason for booking - clean, warm and well-maintained. Communication from the host was great. Negative: The cleanliness of the property was not what I'm comfortable with, particularly the kitchen and bathrooms. We did interrupt the cleaner when we arrived (but this was after check-in time) so that may be part of it? I also felt that the slide in the backyard was not safe for my 4 year old. We didn't try it but it looked very precarious.
